Overview
Melio handles bill pay and invoicing for small businesses and the accountants who manage their books. On the AP side it processes vendor payments by ACH, card, or check, with AI bill capture to pull invoice details automatically. On the AR side it generates invoices that clients pay through a shareable link.
The free Go tier covers one user and five ACH payments per month, which works for sole traders or clients just starting out. Core at $25 per month adds batch payments, approval workflows, W-9 collection, and 1099 automation, plus unlimited QuickBooks Online and Xero sync. Boost at $55 per month brings advanced approval rules, QuickBooks Desktop sync, and classes tracking. The Unlimited plan at $80 per month drops per-user fees entirely. A 30-day free trial covers all features.
Melio works with QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Xero. Cross-border vendor payments are available in USD and local currencies.
The partner programme tiers from Bronze to Diamond based on client count, with discounts of 30 to 45 percent on paid plans for firm-billed clients. Partners also get a free Boost plan for their own firm use, access to Melio Academy, free Earmark CPE credits, and co-marketing opportunities. Melio is available in the US.
