Hubdoc

Hubdoc connects directly to supplier portals and financial institutions on your client's behalf and fetches bills, receipts, and bank statements without manual uploads. The key data fields are extracted and pushed to Xero or QuickBooks, removing the manual upload step that slows month-end.

Hubdoc is owned by Xero and is included at no extra cost in Xero Starter, Standard, and Premium plans. Firms not on a qualifying Xero subscription can sign up to Hubdoc standalone from around $12 per month per business. A free trial is available with no card required.

Coverage spans thousands of banks, utilities, and vendor portals across the US, UK, Australia, and Canada. If a supplier portal is not available for automatic fetch, clients can upload documents via mobile app or email. The tool works with Xero and QuickBooks only.

It is a natural fit for practices already on Xero that want a simple, low-setup way to cut document chasing. Firms running a different primary ledger will find the integration options limited.
